MARION — The Sippican Lands Trust (SLT) will host its 2019 Annual Meeting on Wednesday, June 12 at 5:30 p.m. at the Marion Music Hall, 164 Front Street, Marion. All are encouraged to attend the Annual Meeting to learn more about the group and its work.

The meeting will also feature a presentation from Brad “Old Buzzard” Cook. The presenter’s journey from a deeply troubled young man to an active, outdoor adventurer sparked his interest in a complete physical, mental and spiritual transformation, a quest for more.

After a successful 35-year career in public education, Cook now focuses his energy on getting children out into nature and away from screens. Cook lives with his wife, Karen, and dog, Otis, and splits time between Maine and Massachusetts.

The Marion Music Hall is located at 164 Front Street in Marion. Parking is available at the Island Wharf parking lot. Light refreshments will be served, and a brief business meeting will be conducted prior to the presentation.
