ROCHESTER — On Saturday, Aug. 26, Rochester Affordable Housing Inc. will host a brunch and educational event at the Rochester Council on Aging, 67 Dexter Lane, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

According to a press release from Rochester Affordable Housing Inc., the organization was formed “out of a need for Rochester senior and veteran housing ... that has not been met.”

The organization “wants to create truly affordable housing to meet Rochester’s needs,” read the release. “It does not want to simply create housing to meet state mandated guidelines.”

According to the press release, the brunch and educational event will give Rochester residents the chance to talk to state and town officials about affordable housing in Rochester.
