The First Congregational Church will host “The Dangers of Prescription Drugs in the Home” on Friday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. at Community Center Hall, 144 Front St.

Deputy Liisa Budge-Johnson of the Plymouth County Sheriff's Department will present a free 30-minute PowerPoint program on the dangers of prescription drugs and inhalants in the home.

She will offer suggestions on how people can protect themselves and their family.
