MARION — From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. members of the U.S. Coast Guard Flotilla 6-3 will teach kids in grades k-6 about water safety.

This event, which is being held at the Elizabeth Taber Library, will cover many aspects of how people can keep themselves and others safe on the water.

Materials will be handed out and the event will feature freebies, activities, demonstrations and more and is free to the public.
