MATTAPOISETT — Hop in to story time with local author Joanne Elaine as she introduces the “Floppy Bunny” series and more.

The event will be held Saturday, July 27 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Mattapoisett Free Public Library.

The Floppy Bunny series is a “children’s delightful series emphasizing the importance of not being afraid to try new things while also being happy with who you are,” according to a press release.

The event is sponsored by local non-profit organization Tri-Town for Protecting Children.
