MARION — Due to the truck failure last week, the following changes have been made to the curbside recycling collection for the month of August, until Waste Management takes over in September.

Wednesday, July 24, will be curbside recycling collection for properties with Monday rubbish collection (the center and village area).  August dates for this route are Aug. 7 and Aug. 21. 

Wednesday, July 31, will be curbside recycling collection for properties with Tuesday and Friday rubbish collection (east and north Marion). August dates for this route are Aug. 14 and Aug. 28.  Please note, there will no longer be curbside recycling collection on Thursdays.

Curbside recycling collection will then continue every other week with Waste Management.  An informational flyer, with a calendar included, will be mailed in late August.  If you have any questions or concerns, contact the Marion Department of Public Works office at 508-748-3540.
