Marion Art Center to host The Jethros

MARION — The Marion Art Center will host the band The Jethros on Oct. 12. Tickets are $18 for art center members, and $20 for non-members. A limited number of cabaret tables, with seating for 4, are available. Attendees may bring their own beverages. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the concert will start at 7:30 p.m.

The Jethros were the founders of the New Bedford Folk Festival Southcoast Stage. Homer Jethro sings and plays guitar, banjo, and mouth organ; Rufus Jethro sings and plays trumpet, trombone, and ukulele, Skillet Jethro sings and plays the drums, Boney Jethro whistles and plays fiddle, bones, and other small percussion; and Gaston Jethro plays bass as though it were seven instruments.
