Marion cemetery workshop for gravestone care

MARION—Marion’s Cemetery Commission will have a workshop Sept. 12 in headstone care and repair. 

The workshop will be teaching gravestone construction, conservation, cleaning and basic repair. No experience is necessary, and the event is free and open to the public.

The event will be on Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery on Mill Street and Converse Road. The rain date is Sept. 13.
