MARION — The Marion Council on Aging’s book club is accepting new members.

The club, which is sponsored by the Friends of Elizabeth Taber Library, will next meet on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 1 p.m. at the Council on Aging.

You do not have to be a Marion resident to join the club.

A book by Dartmouth author Ben Shattuck titled The History of Sound will be discussed.

“This is a book of interconnected stories set in New England, spanning three
centuries that explores how the past is often misunderstood and how history, family, heartache and desire can echo over time,” read a press release.

Copies of the book can be checked out by club members at the front desk of Taber Library.
