MARION — The Friends of the Marion COA will host an “Evening on Sippican Harbor” on Aug. 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. 

The event will both celebrate the Council on Aging and launch the next phase of fundraising, which will build walls between offices in the Community Center. The walls will provide seniors with greater privacy while discussing matters that might be personal.  

Celebration tickets are available at the General Store and at Serendipity for $30.
