On Saturday, July 4, the Marion Concert Band will open its 2015 season with a program of patriotic music in celebration of Independence Day. The program will feature "God Bless America," "The Stars and Stripes Forever," "America, the Beautiful" and many more.

The concert, under the direction of Tobias Monte, will be held at Silver Shell Beach and will start at 8 p.m.  The evening will conclude with the town's fireworks display.
