Marion Council on Aging holds flower design workshop

It's staring to look like spring at the Marion Police Department where on Wednesday, March 7, the Council on Aging hosted a flower arranging workshop led by Eden Landscapes and Florist owner, Stephen Gonsalves.
Ora Mae Torres, outreach coordinator for the Council on Aging, said that Gonsalves volunteered to headline this month's speaker series for the local community.
"He's been incredibly generous," Torres said. "He's donated all of the materials, all of the designs, flowers, oasis, the works."
Guests were led by Gonsalves in a floral designing tutorial, during which each guest created their own arrangement.
