The Marion Council on Aging will host a self-defense class on September 18 at the Marion YSI building located at 13 Atlantis Drive.

Family Safety Instincts instructor, Dara Midwood, will lead the class. It will run from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The cost is $10 per person. There will be handouts on tips to keep you and your family safe. No martial arts are required.
