MARION — The deadline to register dogs for 2021 licenses is March 31.

After that date, there will be a $25.00 late fee per dog in each household. 

The charge is $10.00 for spayed or neutered and $13.00 for “intact.” 

Residents may either mail or drop off payments and rabies certificates in one of the drop boxes in front of the Marion Town House. 

Those who don’t have a copy of their dog’s rabies

certificate but know it’s still valid can call to confirm the town still has it.

Households with residents over 70 may get one dog license at no charge. 

Any additional dog licenses will be charged.
