Marion Fire Department puts out River Road fire

MARION — Firefighters responded to a home on River Road at around 2 p.m. on Nov. 30 and put out a fire.
Crews noted smoke when they arrived, and found a fire on the house’s first floor walls and ceiling when they entered the house. They were able to extinguish the fire quickly.
Wareham Fire Department was called to the scene to assist. Mattapoisett Fire Department provided station coverage for Marion during the incident.
