MARION – The town of Marion and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation will host an open public meeting Wednesday, Jan. 31 to provide details about the Shared Use Path and answer questions regarding the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act Office’s review process for the project.

Town officials, project managers and consultants will be present to detail the upcoming submittal of the project’s Expanded Environmental Notification Form and review by the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act. 

The open house will be 6 to 8 p.m. at the Marion Music Hall. The meeting will also be recorded and posted on the Shared Use Path project website and the town of Marion website.

The Shared Use Path project is a planned construction of a 3.8-mile shared use path within Marion. The project continues the development of the South Coast Bikeway, and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation has proposed construction on behalf of the town of Marion.
