Marion Natural History Museum programs
The Marion Natural History Museum has the following programs:
Oct. 26 – Rock-Hound 101: Jim Pierson will talk about his passion – rocks and minerals. A former geologist, he will share his interests with specimens from the museum’s collections as well as his own.
Nov. 9 – Cranberries: This fruit has been a valuable product from the Southeastern Massachusetts area for many years. Dawn Gates-Allen of the Cape Cod Cranberry Growers Association will introduce the life of a bog-owner and the ingredients that go into cultivating this fruit.
Dec. 21 – Nature craft party: This annual event is always program and incorporates natural and recycled materials to make gifts for the holidays. Light refreshments will be served.
