Marion Town House to partially reopen, with extra guidance

Jun 10, 2020

MARION — The town is planning on a limited reopening for all departments and facilities except the Community Center on Monday, June 15. Normal Town House hours will resume on this date.

Per state guidelines, everyone entering the Town House is required to wear a face covering and follow social distancing.

The town asks that residents be mindful of how they enter the building. For all departments except for the Harbormaster's Office and Conservation Commission Office, use the ramp entrance on the library side of the Town House and follow the posted signs.

To conduct business at the Harbormaster's and Conservation Commission Office for beach or parking stickers, transfer station stickers, guest passes and shellfish licenses, residents should use the Main Street stairs entrance. If a person is conducting business in the office, the next person should wait outside.

Departments are still processing business over the phone, mail, and email. The drop-box in front of Town House is available to residents for stickers and tax payments.
