Over the past year and a half, it has been my distinct pleasure to work with Eileen Marum on the Marion Energy Management Committee. From day one, she has been an invaluable member of the Energy Management Committee team, stepping up to help with our efforts whenever help was needed. All the qualities that she brought to committee will make her an excellent member of Marion’s Planning Board: She’s well educated and intelligent, articulate and constructive; she does her homework and cares deeply about our town. Eileen is a team player, forward thinker, good listener, and has a glass-half-full attitude. I know she will work with our residents and fellow board members to find consensus, not alienate.

Last year, only 10 percent of Marion’s eligible voters bothered to cast votes in the town election. Please take a few minutes of your time on May 16 to vote, and I urge you to help put the “P” back in our Planning Board by voting for Eileen Marum.
