MARION — Musician Matt York will perform the Songs and Stories of Willie Nelson on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. in the Anne Braitmayer Webb Theater.

Joined by fiddle player Angelica Vendetti, York will focus on “Willie’s long and illustrious music career” which spanned seven decades. He will also reflect upon Nelson’s most recent book, “The Words and Wisdom of Willie.”

York was previously nominated for the Boston Music Award for Best Country Artist in 2022 and 2023, in addition to his album “Gently Used” receiving acclaim in 2024.

General admission tickets cost $20 for Marion Art Center members and $25 for non-members. Tickets can be purchased online at https://www.marionartcenter.org/events/.
