DOG LICENSING - If your dog has not been licensed for 2011 please do so as soon as possible. The second late fee of $20 is now in effect. If your dog is male/female the fee is now $32, if your dog has been spayed/neutered the fee is now $29, this includes the $20 late fee. Current rabies certificate must be on file before a license can be issued.

MOORING INSPECTIONS – If your mooring number is preceded by a letter (A-H), you should have received a letter and a mooring inspection form in the mail. The form MUST be on file in the Town Clerk’s office before your 2012 payment will be accepted. Please be sure the form has been signed and dated before returning it. If per chance you did not receive this letter and form, please call the Clerk’s office and one will be sent to you or if able, stop by and pick up the form.

2012 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION YEAR – College Students - Absentee ballot applications are available in the Town Clerk’s Office. As soon as college students know their college address, they should stop by and fill in an application so that we can send them a ballot as soon as they are available in 2012. A parent may also file this form for them.  Ballots cannot be picked up (unless you are voting in person, here in the office) they must be mailed. All instructions will be sent with the ballot. A parent or immediate family member may return the ballot to us, but it must be sent via the mail. If you have any question please call the Town Clerk’s Office at 508-758-4103 ext. 2

SPECIAL TOWN MEETING – A Special Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday November 15, 2011 at the Old Rochester Regional High School Auditorium beginning at 6:30pm sharp. There will be a special voter registration session on Friday November 4, 2011. The office will be open until 8pm for that purpose. If you are not a registered voter and wish to participate in the town meeting please register on or before November 4, 2011. If you are already a registered voter you do not need to re-register.
