Mattapoisett Congregational Church celebrates homecoming

On Sunday, the Mattapoisett Congregational Church celebrated faith and family during its annual homecoming service and community picnic at Ned's Point.
This year, the day began with two baptisms in Buzzards Bay for Elliott Talley and Henry Berry.
The church's praise band also added to the day. Joining the choir, the band led praise hymns and worship, concluding with the congregation singing "This Place, Our Anchorage."
Children registered for Sunday School and celebrated with artwork and games. On Sept. 20, the worship service returns to 27 Church St. and Sunday School begins. All are welcome.
