Trip to The Nimrod Restaurant and Jazz Lounge
On Thursday, May 3 the van will leave Mattapoisett Park and Ride on North Street at 11 a.m. The van costs $7 round trip. Call to reserve your seat.

Mother's Day Ice Cream Social
On Thursday, May 10, everyone is invited to an ice cream social at the Council on 17 Barstow Street. The event costs $1 and there will be many toppings. Please RSVP by Tuesday, May 8.

Trip to Christo's restaurant
On Thursday, May 17 the van will leave Mattapoisett Park and Ride on North Street at 11 a.m. The van costs $6 round trip. Call to reserve your seat.

Potted Plant Party
Steve from Eden’s Landscaping will instruct & guide on proper care for potted plants. Participants can make their own annual planter. Bring your own container or purchase on on site. Bring in sick or challenged plants as well for a clinic on how to save them. Instruction is free but there is a fee for plants and pots. The event is Wednesday, May 23 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Please RSVP by Monday, May 21.

Magic Show
Magician Jack Ryan will perform his magic and ESP on Thursday, May 24. The show begins at 1 p.m and. Audience participation will be part of the show. The event will be at the Council on Aging at Center School, 17 Barstow Street. Transportation is available for Mattapoisett residents. For registration and more information, call the Council.

Movie and Pizza
The Mattapoisett Friends of the Elderly are hosting a free showing of  2011 Best Picture Oscar nominee "The Descendents" on Tuesday, May 22 at 12 p.m. Pizza will be available for $2. Please RSVP for pizza by 12 p.m. on Monday, May 21.
