MATTAPOISETT — On Saturday, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., the Mattapoisett Democratic Town Committee will host “Cup of Joe with Mark Sylvia” at the Town Wharf General Store.

The event is an “invitation to the community to join” the committee for coffee and to meet and learn more about Mark Sylvia, Democratic candidate for the 10th Bristol district state representative.

On Wednesday, Oct. 16, the Mattapoisett Democratic Town Committee will hold a meeting from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the downstairs meeting room of the Mattapoisett Free Public Library. Sylvia will be “available to answer all voters’ questions” as early voting and the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 5 approach.
