Mattapoisett fisherman to speak at Mohegan Sun

MATTAPOISETT — Take the chill off of winter with fishing talk with Mattapoisett resident “East End” Eddie Doherty at the Mohegan Sun in Montville, Connecticut.
Doherty will present fishing seminars including a PowerPoint demonstration featuring color photography by professional photographer, retired Bourne Police Detective and surfcaster John Doble.
“Surfcasting the Cape Cod Canal for Striped Bass” will be presented at the Connecticut Fishing and Outdoor Show for twice on Saturday, March 25 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Mohegan Sun.
Doherty, a retired Massachusetts District Court Clerk-Magistrate, has written for many magazines, a column for the Falmouth Enterprise and is the author of “Seven Miles After Sundown,” which was announced on Amazon as the Number one new release in fishing and selected as an award winning finalist for American Bookfest in the Sports Category at the 2019 International Book Awards in Los Angeles.
