Mattapoisett Friends of the Elderly to show 'The King's Speech' Aug. 28

The Mattapoisett Friends of the Elderly will host the free showing of “The King’s Speech” at the Council on Aging at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28.
Pizza is available for $3. Pizza requests must be paid by 3 p.m. on Monday, August 27.
“The King's Speech” tells the story of how a King finds his voice. Bertie, who suffered from stammering all his life, is suddenly crowned King George VI of England. With the support of his family, and others, the King overcomes his stammer and delivers an inspiring radio-address.
