MATTAPOISETT — The Mattapoisett Land Trust has hired Sarah French Storer as its new Operations Manager, effective Jan. 1.

As Operations Manager, Storer will manage the organization’s community engagement and land stewardship activities.

Storer, who has lived in Mattapoisett for the majority of the past 20 years, has a strong background in land conservation and non-profit management, having served as the Land Manager at Dartmouth Natural Resource Trust for 15 years and as a church administrator in New Bedford for five.

Storer also received her bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology and management from the University of Rhode Island.

“MLT is fortunate to hire someone with Sarah’s deep experience in land conservation to help us to continue building our capabilities,” said Mike Huguenin, the organization’s president.
