BOSTON — A 67-year-old Mattapoisett man was uninjured in an early-morning tractor-trailer rollover crash, State Police reported.

According to police, first responders arrived at the scene under the Boston University Bridge on Storrow Drive around 2 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 14.

The unnamed Mattapoisett man was “alert and walking around” outside the vehicle, said police.

According to police, the driver was hauling boxed sprouts in a 2018 Freightliner M2106.

Police report that during the crash oil leaked from the trailer and personnel from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection cleaned up the spill.

The crash closed the east side of Storrow Drive and the ramp to Storrow Drive from River Street. Storrow drive was eventually reopened, said police.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
