MATTAPOISETT — This year, the Mattapoisett 10 mile and 5K race will support the Buzzards Bay Habitat for Humanity home build in Mattapoisett with part of its registration fee. 

The race will take place from Mattapoisett Wharf on Saturday, Nov. 9. The shorter race will begin at 9 a.m. with the longer race at 10:15 a.m. 

Racers can support Habitat for Humanity with the promo code HABITAT2018 at registration, which will donate $5 of the runner’s donation fee to the charity. Habitat for Humanity recently began its first home build in Mattapoisett.
