Mattapoisett Recreation to host free basketball clinic

MATTAPOISETT — The town’s Recreation Department and coaches from Baystate Elite and Basketball Money programs are offering free girls basketball clinics for children in grades 2 to 8.
Clinics will be held at Old Hammondtown School on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. on Sept. 10, 24 and Oct. 8.
The sessions are open to all abilities and will focus on game fundamentals. Non-residents are welcome. There is no charge for the clinics, but sign up online at www.mattrec.net
