Center State Kids

Tracy Gendreau Fiore will lead a creative theater program where children ages 5 to 12 will learn various aspects of the performing arts and will participate in a theatrical production on the last day of the eight-week session. The cost is $100 and classes will take place on Wednesdays, from 3 to 4 p.m., March 2 to May 4 at the Center School gym. The registration deadline is Feb. 26.

Yoga

Certified yoga instructor Lynda Jacobvitz will teach children 6 to 10 age appropriate yoga poses, basic stretching exercises and creative movement to promote strength, flexibility and coordination. Breathing and visualization techniques will teach kids how to focus, relax, develop self-control and improve concentration. This eight-week session will be held at the Center School gym on Tuesdays, March 1 to April 26 from 3 to 4 p.m. The cost is $80. Register by Feb. 26.

Fencing

Blackstone Valley Fencing Academy will teach children 7 to 12 the basic techniques and language of fencing. Their goal is to promote self-confidence and self-reliance as a fencer and an individual. All equipment is provided. Kids should wear sneakers and long pants for this six-week session. The class will be held at the Center School gym on Mondays from March 7 to April 11, 7 to 8 p.m. The cost is $120. Register by Feb. 26.
