Mattapoisett resident Michelle Costa-Tavares is joining Coastal Realty.

“Michelle is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and you can see those values in her integrity and work ethic,” said Coastal Realty Vice President Lori Nery. “Michelle has routinely been recognized for her proficiency, resolve, and dedication and now she brings those qualities to her Coastal Realty clients on the South Coast.”

Costa-Tavares discovered her passion for real estate through her own experiences and while assisting friends and family through home buying and selling.

“Since I am an attorney with experience in real estate law, people were always asking me about their deals,” Costa-Tavares explained.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, and her Juris Doctorate degree from Suffolk University Law School.

Costa-Tavares grew up in New Bedford and now enjoys discovering the beauty of the greater New Bedford area with her husband and children. She currently lives in Mattapoisett.
