MATTAPOISETT — Newly restocked, the Mattapoisett Free Public Library's Seed Library is ready for anyone interested in planting a garden of flowers or vegetables now that the weather is getting warmer. The library’s seed collection has a wide variety of plant options. Some of the most popular include flowers, herbs, tomatoes, peppers, beans, lettuce and greens.

New this year, the library has parsnips, turnips and Brussel sprouts. To participate, visit the library and pick out your seeds. Once chosen, patrons can “check them out.” Seeds do not need to be returned. Must be a SAILS library patron.
