After a winter of storms, last week’s snow finally pushed the Mattapoisett snow and ice fund over its limit. On Tuesday, Selectmen voted to approve snow and ice deficit spending.

“In conversations with other communities, we’re actually doing far better than them,” said Town Administrator Mike Gagne. “We’re going to be over in some categories but not anything significant.”
