MATTAPOISETT — According to the Town of Mattapoisett, Mattapoisett Town Beach has reopened to swimmers as of Friday, July 21.
Water sample tests taken on Thursday, July 20 have tested “negative” for high levels of harmful bacteria, according to the Town of Mattapoisett.
According to the town, “close monitoring of the beach water is to continue.”
