Moms are 'nice': Kids share what they love most about their mothers

In honor of Mother’s Day, Sippican Week sat down with kids from Center School to hear what they like best about their moms. See what they had to say below!

Ava Barrows, a second grade: What do you like best about your mom? "She’s really nice, and she helps me out with my homework when I get stuck." Is your mom funny? "She’s funny...not usually on purpose. She walks into walls sometimes." BY GEORGIA SPARLING

Chaz Aguiar, 2nd grade: What’s do you like best about your mom? "I like that she helps me out with my homework, and that she helps me with anything I need." BY GEORGIA SPARLING

Bailey Pellanand, kindergarten: What do you like to do with your mom? "I like to sit with her a lot. We read books together. We like to make s’mores." BY GEORGIA SPARLING

Callie Tavares, 3rd grade: What’s do you like best about your mom? "Me and my mom, we love each other so much. She’s fun and she never yells at me." BY GEORGIA SPARLING

Caroline Brogioli, kindergarten: What do you like to do with your mom? "We go to the museum, and she brings us to the zoo. We look at the horses and the cows." BY GEORGIA SPARLING

Carter Hunt, 3rd grade: What do you like best about your mom? "She’s beautiful and pretty. I love her." BY GEORGIA SPARLING

Jonah Duke, 3rd grade: What do you like best about your mom? "I guess she’s pretty nice." What are you doing for Mother’s Day? "Buying her a bouquet of flowers. Every year we clean her car for her. I have the vacuuming job." BY GEORGIA SPARLING

What do you like best about your mom? Lila: "I like to make cookies with her." Ava: "I like to go on vacation with her. Mia: "I like to go biking with her." What are your plans for Mother’s Day?
