MARION — The town’s Natural History Museum will screen a video that investigates if trees communicate on  March 25 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

German forester Peter Wohlleben, author of “The Hidden Life of Trees” and scientist Suzanne Simard of The University of British Columbia, Canada have been observing and investigating the communication between trees over decades. The museum will be showing  “Intelligent Trees” which features the main observations that are covered in Peter Wohlleben's book.

The presentation is free and the museum is handicap accessible. Participants should contact the Museum Director before the event so there are enough chairs for everyone. She can be reached at Director@marionmuseum.org or by calling us at 508-748-2098 to leave a message.
