A new ambulance has arrived at the Marion Fire Department. This unit replaces the current backup ambulance which is a 2000 model year. The new ambulance was purchased from Specialty Vehicles in North Attleborough. Once members are trained in its use the truck will serve as the primary ambulance. This is the second new vehicle for the Marion Fire Department purchased this year. In September the department received a new pumper that is assigned as Engine 1. The Marion Fire Department is grateful for the support it has received from residents and elected officials to fund these purchases.
