MARION — The Marion Art Center will host a new exhibit, featuring watercolors and oil paintings by Mike Mazer and personal studio works by sculptor Erik Durant.

The show opens on Friday, Oct. 2 and runs through Nov. 7. An informal meet and greet with Erik Durant will take place on Saturday, October 17 from 1-2p.m. at the MAC. Masks and social distancing are required.

The event will follow the unveiling of the new Elizabeth Taber statue, also created by Durant. The unveiling event is scheduled at 11a.m. in Bicentennial Park, across the street from the MAC.

The MAC galleries are currently open to the public Thursday-Saturday from 10a.m.-2p.m. every day. Visitors may also request an appointment to view works from Tuesday-Friday between the hours of 10a.m.-4p.m.
