November programs at Elizabeth Taber Library

The Elizabeth Taber Library has begun selling its 2016 ornaments at the library for $30. The proceeds will go toward the library’s programs. The programs in November are as follows:

Children’s fall reading programs: To register, stop by the library, call the library at 508-748-1252, or email rgrey@sailsinc.org.

The Fall Story Time program is for children ages 3-5, and runs through Nov. 28. Children are invited to enjoy stories, finger plays and crafts Mondays at 10:30 a.m.

The Fall Lapsit program is for newborns through 23 months and their caregivers. The program runs through Nov. 29. Tuesday mornings at 10:30 there is a 20-minute story time followed by 20 minutes of socializing. One child per lap.

The Fall Tales for Twos is for children 24-36 months old and runs through Nov. 30. Children must be accompanied by an enthusiastic adult for 30 minutes of stories, finger plays and crafts on Wednesday mornings at 10:30.

Mystery book club: The mystery book club will meet at 11 a.m. on Nov. 2 to discuss “The Good Girl” by Mary Kubica. The book for the Dec. 7 meeting is “The Ex” by Alafair Burke.

Drop in tech help: For any questions about a device or assistance with any basic technology, come to the library from 11-12 p.m. every Tuesday through Nov. 15. If you cannot make it Tuesday mornings, call the library to set up a one-on-one appointment.

Afternoon book club: The afternoon book club will meet to discuss “A Walk in the Woods: Rediscovering America on the Appalachian Trail” by Bill Bryson on Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. The book for the Dec. 20 meeting is “The Girl in the Red Coat” by Kate Hamer.

Coloring for adults: The library will host an adult coloring session on Nov. 10 at 6 p.m. to relieve stress and socialize.
