Old Rochester Regional will hold technology drive Jan. 4-19

Dec 20, 2011

Students Organizing Labor Equality will be holding a technology drive to raise money for the girls’ soccer team on January 4 – 19. The student-run club at Old Rochester Regional High School is a division of the “United Students Against Sweatshops.” Together they work to promote fair trade practices and products made in the U.S. within the high school and the community.

Last year, the group was able to purchase fair trade soccer balls for the boys’ soccer team. Any donations this year would be appreciated.

Accepted donations include,

  • Any generation iPod and MP3 players
  • Cell phones dating from 2005-2011
  • GPSs dating from 2008-2011
  • Digital cameras and camcorders dating from 2006-2011
  • Video games (XBox, Play Station, Wii, etc.)
  • Gaming consoles (including PSP, Nintendo DS, etc.)
  • DVDs
  • Laptops dating from 2008-2011

Boxes for donations can be found at any of the schools in the district.
