Old Rochester seniors receive commendation
Oct 31, 2012
Old Rochester Regional High School seniors Alexander Milde, Chandra Perez-Gill, and Jacob Rioux have been named Commended Students in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program.
Commended Students placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students that entered the 2013 competition by taking the 2011 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
Nationally, 34,000 students have received the commendation. The students will receive a letter of commendation from both Old Rochester Regional and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, which conducts the program.
High School Principal Michael Devoll will hand out the letters to the students on a date to be determined.
