Old Rochester Youth Baseball is seeking more players, and will be conducting Major and Minor League Evaluations for its 2019 season on Feb. 8. These evaluations will be held at the Lumber Yard Sports Batting Cages at 675 Orchard St. in New Bedford at 6 p.m. 

Players who played on a Majors team last year, or players that played on a Minors team and plan to remain on the same team do not need to be evaluated. Otherwise, all players must be evaluated to be placed on a team in either of those divisions.  

Please note that children must be registered to be evaluated. Please visit ORYB.org and click on the “Online Registration” banner to register. Parents who are unsure which division to register for, please register for the division they would like their child to be evaluated for. 

As a guideline, the Minors division is kid pitch and mostly consists of kids who will be between the ages of 8 and 10 come May 1, 2019. The Majors division is our most competitive division and consists mostly of kids who will be 10 or 11 on May 1.
