ORR district offers free meals for anyone ages 0 to 21 for school year

MATTAPOISETT — The Old Rochester Regional School District has announced it will be offering free breakfast and lunch to any student in the district from now until June 30, 2021.

All children and teens ages 0 to 21 can get free meals, whether they are learning in the building or remotely. Younger kids who are not yet enrolled in school can also receive free meals. Parents or caregivers can pick up the meals, and children don’t have to be present at the pick ups.

Meal options are a combination of ready-to-eat and heat-and-eat options. Meals not consumed within an hour of pick up should be refrigerated.

Meals are available for pickup from noon to 1 p.m. on Mondays. Starting Nov. 2, meal pick ups are also available on Monday evenings from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the high school. 

To schedule a pick up, select a meal and choose a pick up location, visit orrschoolmeals.com The order form opens every Friday at 5 p.m. and closes every Wednesday at 9 a.m. for the following Monday pick up. 
 
Free breakfast and lunch are also available daily to students in school buildings.
