MATTAPOISETT — The Old Rochester Regional High School Community Service Learning Club spent their time this past month collecting socks to benefit the Women’s Center of New Bedford. 

The Sock-tober event was a massive success. The group was not only able to reach its goal of 200 pairs, but more than doubled it by collecting 450 pairs of socks. 

In a press release, club advisors Karen Browning and Andrea Moniz said, “THANK YOU, again, ORR for helping to keep feet warm! We wouldn't have been able to do it without you!”
