On Monday, Aug.15, from 5 to 8 p.m., the Oxford Creamery will be open for a fundraising event with proceeds to benefit programs at the Mattapoisett Congregational Church.

Members of the church will assist behind the counter, scooping ice cream, making drinks, busing tables and helping to serve.

“It’s our favorite night of the summer!” said Cindy Johnson, event organizer. “We hope everyone will dine out at the Oxford on this special Monday, eat hearty and enjoy!”
