The Marion Natural History museum sent thanks to Caroline Grainger, after she donated a series of bird carvings by her father, James Babbitt, to the Marion Natural History Museum.

The museum lost many of its specimens in its ceiling collapse in 2012. Natural History Museum Director Elizabeth Leidhold explained the the pieces are the beginning of a new display of nature-inspired artwork created by local artists.
