MARION — The Sippican Lands Trust held an edible plant workshop with Russ Cohen at Brainard Marsh on July 31. Participants on the free walk explored wild strawberries, beach plumbs and many other plants. 

Cohen wrote “Wild Plants I Have Known…and Eaten” in 2004 and has led numerous foraging walks on properties around Massachusetts for groups like the Buzzards Bay Coalition.
