Plants with a Purpose plant sale at Old Rochester

MATTAPOISETT — The Old Rochester Regional High School Environmental Club and The Transition Program will be hosting its Second Annual “Plants with Purpose and Green Gifts” Sale.
The clubs will be assembling indoor plants, perennials, native plants, pansy baskets, decopaged shells, and frames/barrettes decorated with shells and ribbons for sale.
Shoppers can also make their own decorated frame/barrette and plant a marigold to bring home.
The clubs will be selling lemonade and homemade snacks.
Charlene Mello, with “Bee Mello Apiaries”, will join the group with an observation hive with the bees as well as a few educational items and honey for sale.
The sale will be held in the front of Old Rochester Regional High School, on Saturday, May 9, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Cash, checks made out to Old Rochester Regional High School or Venmo @ORRUnified will be accepted as payment.
All proceeds from the sale benefit the clubs work in the gardens on campus.
