Plumb Library's book clubs will discuss the following selections at their February meetings. Copies of the books are available at the library desk.

Cafe Parlez fiction book club

On Thursday, February 25 at 6:30 p.m., the fiction book club will discuss "The Silver Linings Playbook" by Matthew Quick. The novel is centered on Pat Peoples and his obsessive goal to get back his estranged wife as he tries to become physically fit, emotionally literate and better read after an extended stay at a mental facility. As he tries to remake himself, Pat must deal with a losing streak by his favorite football team, being pursued by the odd yet endearing Tiffany and being haunted by Kenny G.

Just the Facts nonfiction book club

In "The Warmth of Other Suns: The Epic Story of America's Great Migration," Isabel Wilkerson tells the story of the decades-long migration of black citizens who fled the South for northern and western cities, from 1915 to 1970, through the lives of three unique individuals.

The discussion will be Thursday, Feb. 18 at 6:30 p.m.
